We Offer 3 Signature Speaking Topics

  1. Born Leaders: The Experience of La Hija Mayor

The eldest daughter of immigrant parents joins the workforce ahead of the game because they come with the experience of leading in the family. This session focuses on being in a community with each other. The goal is that together we will explore the assets we’ve built over our lifetime and how our experiences impact the way we show up in the workplace. I will share my story as La Hija Mayor and what that meant for my professional journey. Then we will spend time honoring each of our experiences as First Gen through the Community Cultural Wealth Framework.

  2. Claiming Your Power In Your Career: For Latinx Professionals

Workplaces were not built to include Latinx employees and those of us who identify as Latinx know it and can feel it. We often feel taken for granted, not seen, overworked, and under-appreciated. In this session, we will explore how to take control of our destiny by advocating for ourselves and taking our power back. The goal is that by the end of this training we will feel more connected to our individual superpowers.

  3. Supporting First Generation Latinas in the Workplace

When you look around your organization you can see Latinas are underrepresented, and the number of Latinas continues to decrease as you move up the leadership ladder. Through storytelling we will spend time learning about what it means to be a first-generation Latina, the unique skills first gen Latinas bring to organizations, and how the framework of Community Cultural Wealth can help you create new ways to support the Latinas in your workplace.

Bring our unique topics/workshops to your organization. We do panels, fireside chats, and interactive workshops for your team, ERG or organization.
